International audienceIn order to contribute to the study of societies of the end of Bronze Age of central Mongolia through their sacrificial and funerary practices and symbolic expressions, an archaeological team has developed the program of prospection and tracing according to very precise problems. Retained zone of investigation on high Tamir has as a center a vast funerary and ritual complex: the site of Tsatsiin Ereg. The first operation in July 2006 allowed studying many structures (1357GPS points were taken) : dry stone burials, circles revealing sacrificial deposits and engraved steles.
