International audienceThe harmful consequences of rail accidents, which sometimes lead to loss of life and the destruction of the system and its environment, are at the basis of the implementation of a "experience feedback" (REX) system considered as the essential means to promote the improvement of safety. REX seeks to identify adverse events with a view to highlighting all the causes that contributed to the occurrence of a particular accident and therefore to avoid at least the reproduction of new accidents and similar incidents.
