International audienceAuthors compare the electromagnetic performances of three multi-phases permanent-magnet (PM) synchronous machines (PMSM) for Mild Hybridtraction application. This comparison was made using two-dimensional (2-D) numerical simulations in transient magnetic with eddy-current reaction field in the PMs. The best machine was determined using an energetic analysis (i.e., losses, torque and efficiency) according specifications. In this study, the non-overlapping winding with double layer (i.e. all teeth wound type) was used. The winding synthesis is based on the "Star of slots" method as well as the Fourier series decomposition of the magnetomotive force (MMF)
