International audienceSeveral types of living structures characterize the magdalenian site of Étiolles. Close to rich living areas which are interpreted as dwellings, other activity areas have been discovered. They also consist of a hearth with flaked flint concentrations but with very few artefacts. In this paper, three of them are studied and a functional interpretation is proposed. They appear as slightly specialized activity areas and complementary to dwellings.
