International audienceMinijet is one of the most promising active methods for the enhancement of jet mixing. The injection of minijets into a turbulent jet before the jet exit may have multiple impacts on the jet mixing structure. This work aims to understand the jet flow structure controlled by multiple unsteady minijets, especially the effect of the minijet phases on the jet mixing enhancement. Large eddy simulation was conducted for a round, turbulent jet, disturbed with six unsteady minijets, with a view to reveal the flow structures for various control modes and enhance the jet mixing.
