This study presents the synthesis and the characterization of the structural and sorption properties of magnetic nanoscale particles, which play a significant role in wastewater treatment technologies.Aqueous suspensions of magnetic particles were prepared by co-precipitation of Fe(III) and Fe(II) in the presence of NH4OH. Adsorption of heavy metal ions adsorption from single metal aqueous solutions was investigated in batch adsorptionequilibrium experiments.
