In this paper is described the development of a model which can simulate the performance of a photovoltaic (PV) system under specific meteorological conditions and transforming the DC current into AC current. In this model, the accent stands on the design of a series charge regulator. It is treated also the benefit of creating a circuit, with different methods, that can test the maximum power point trackers (MPPT) for different photovoltaic applications
