After Ottoman Empire was defeated in the First World War, faced with the danger of losing their independence and lands, Turkish people started a national struggle for independence under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal, despite the poverty and lack of money. One of the most important issue must be considered here is how a nation whose army was demobilized, capital was occupied and financial-emotional resources exhausted, could rised.
