BartunekThis dissertation examines the knowledge translation from one professional community to another that has distinct priorities, values, and commutation styles: management academia to practice. More specifically, I examined knowledge translation in the form of converting peer-reviewed management research papers into practitioner-oriented research highlights. Drawing from archival and interview data, I conducted three interrelated empirical studies to investigate this phenomenon.
