The energy ratios of the reflected and refracted waves<br />at the boundary between transversely isotropic media have been investigated.<br />The energy equation has been derived on two bases, namely as (a)<br />double of the kinetic energy, (ft) double of the potential energy. The ratios<br />of the derived waves to that of the incident quasilongitudinal wave have been<br />calculated for the particular case, where the symmetry axes of the media<br />coincide with the normal to the boundary surface. The influence of varying<br />the different elastic parameters is shown in a few diagram
