The paper presents the investigation involving 70 patients with gastric cancer diagnosis pathohistologically verified. The aim of the paper was to establish the importance of gastroscopy as a reliable method for gastric cancer diagnosis as well as the importance of patohistological result (PH) for the localisation, and macroscopic result of the cancer and the outcome and survival time in these patients. The data are retrospective-prospective.
