CONSIDERATIONS ABOUT THE PROCESS OF CIVIC FORMATION OF THE UNIVERSITY STUDENT. THE SINGULARITY OF ITS DYNAMICS FROM THE SOCIOPOLITICAL ACTIVITY / CONSIDERACIONES DEL PROCESO DE FORMACIÓN CIUDADANA DEL ESTUDIANTE UNIVERSITARIO. LA SINGULARIDAD DE SU DINÁMICA DESDE LA ACTIVIDAD SOCIOPOLÍTICA

In the present article, the essential singularities of the dynamics of the process of civic formation in the university context from the professional and sociopolitical perspectives are exposed. The psychological, pedagogic and sociological assumptions which sustain the understanding of the university student civic formation as special phase of the continuous formative process are described. On the other hand, the condition of active agent of sociotransforming alternatives as quality that distinguishes the higher education students in their performance as citizens is precised. In the article, the proposal of a method for the civic formation sustained in the problematization of the university student's sociopolitical activism is presented, as well as the procedures that integrate the proposal. Finally, the main results reached in the educational experience of the implementation of the method at Universidad de Oriente are pointed out. RESUMENEn el presente artículo se exponen singularidades esenciales de la dinámica del proceso de formación ciudadana en el contexto universitario desde las perspectivas profesional y sociopolítica. Se refieren los presupuestos psicológicos, pedagógicos y sociológicos que sustentan la comprensión de la formación ciudadana del universitario como fase especial del proceso formativo continuo. De igual forma, se precisa la condición de activo gestor de alternativas sociotransformadoras como cualidad que distingue al estudiante de la educación superior en su actuación como ciudadano. En el artículo se fundamenta la propuesta de un método para la formación ciudadana sustentado en la problematización del activismo sociopolítico del estudiante universitario, así como se ilustran los procedimientos que integran el mismo. Finalmente, son reseñados los principales resultados alcanzados en la experiencia educativa de la implementación del método en la Universidad de Oriente
