The paper is focused on an experimental study on the functioning of photovoltaic cells at high temperatures. Having regard to that systems based on the semiconductors components, at high temperatures,above normal operating current appear a current in addition, due to the phenomenon of intrinsic thermal generation, charge carries, it is possible destructive phenomena appears.
