Introduction. Cimetidine and quinacrine have protective effect on gastroduodenal lesions. In this study we compared efficacy of cimetidine and quinacrine for prevention of stress and aspirin Induced Peptic Ulcer. Methods. In an experimental studey, 36 rats randomly divided into 2 groups and each group divided into 3 subgroups of 6 rats. First subgroups of each group immersed in a water bath for 6 hours, or received ASA (250 mg/kg) orally with no prophylaxis (control groups).
