This study lias been carried out on 70 patients who were admitted to S'tna Hospital emergency department with a clinical diagnosis of acute abdominal pain and underewent appendectomy."n70 pathologic specimens (appendices) were studied macroscopicaky and microscopically; 46 cases were consequently diagnosed as appendicitis and 24 as non-appendicitis.
