In this work, it discusses the importance of gender equal perspective in the prevention and mitigation of natural disasters. We asked about the perceptions and reactions differential by gender about natural disasters and the effects of environmental changes in the territory of members of local organizations in Cuetzalan, Puebla. In particular nahuatl women organized in the Masehualsiuamej Mosenyolchiauanij, who developed remedial action from the effects of natural disaster in 1999.
