THE CARTOGRAPHY IN STUDIES OF ENVIRONMENT: BILINGUAL PRACTICE AIMING INCLUSION OF DEAF STUDENTS A CARTOGRAFIA NOS ESTUDOS DO MEIO AMBIENTE: POR UMA PRÁTICA BILINGUE VISANDO A INCLUSÃO DOS ALUNOS SURDOS

Understanding that teaching Geography to Deaf students through to the field visual-spatial and off course, the appreciation of their mother language, the Brazilian Sing Language, that study aiming to discuss and develop activities of Geography focusing on the characteristics of that language. Therefore, starting from the Cartography and all diverse applicability, this study sought to sharpen the student’s perception about the lived space. The conditions of urban neighborhood linked to the importance of space and interpret the various events that surround us. Finally, using games, images and fields works with a group of Deaf students, we compose a sequence teaching that we call: The Urban Environmental Problems: From the world to my school.Por entender que o ensino ao aluno Surdo perpassa pelo campo viso-gestual e, especialmente, pela valorização da sua língua materna, a Língua Brasileira de Sinais, é que este trabalho objetivou a discussão e elaboração de atividades de Geografia centradas nas características lingüísticas e didáticas destes alunos. Portanto, partindo-se da Cartografia e de suas diversas aplicabilidades, este trabalho procurou aguçar a percepção dos alunos acerca do espaço vivido. Considerando a área em que se localiza a escola, elegemos os problemas ambientais urbanos como eixo temático. Sendo assim, através de atividades, jogos, imagens e trabalho de campo com uma turma de alunos Surdos, arquitetaram-se as seqüências didáticas que chamamos de Os Problemas Ambientais Urbanos: Do mundo à minha escola
