The article discusses the results of legislative elections in 2010 in order to assess the political/ electoral inclusion of women. It seeks to show how the way of counting votes and allocating seats, the type of constituency and list, affect the degree of incorporation of women in Congress. Addition, it outlines some hypotheses about how certain dynamics within political parties influence the inclusion of women. Besides, proposes to elaborate some hypotheses about the political success of women and their political careers in Congress.
