FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN EFEKTIFITAS TERAPI HIPERTENSI DI PUSKESMAS PATTINGALLOANG KOTA MAKASSAR TAHUN 2013

JURNAL MASYARAKAT EPIDEMIOLOGI INDONESIAABSTRACT\ud \ud Hypertension is oftentimes conceived of "Silent Killer", because oftentimes do not emerge any symptom happened damage of vital organ which enough weight. This research aimed to identify the factors associated with the effectiveness of the hypertension therapy in Pattingalloang Community Health, Makassar. It was an observational research making use of the cross-sectional design. The samples consisting of 167 patients who had been diagnosed to suffer from blood hypertension in Pattingalloang Health Center in 2012. The data were then analyzed using the Chi-square and the logistic regresssion tests. The research result indicated that the adherence of the hypertension patients (p=0.000 CI 95%), the knowledge of the patients (p=0.000 95% CI), the attitudes of the patients (p=0.229 95% CI) and the roles of the family of patients (p=0.148 95% CI) where the factors which were associated with the effectiveness of the hypertension therapy. However, the variables which were most closely related to the effectiveness of the hypertension therapy were the patients adherence (p=0.000 CI 95%) and patients knowledge (p=0.000 CI 95%).\ud \ud Keywords : Effective therapy, hypertension, adherence, knowledg
