OPTIMALISASI PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI TANAMAN SAWI HIJAU Brassica juncea L. SECARA HIDROPONIK DENGAN PEMBERIAN BERBAGAI BAHAN ORGANIK CAIR

The research about optimization the growth and production of green mustard plant Brassica juncea L. hydroponic by administering various liquid organic materials took place at the Agricultural Biotechnology Division of Center for Research and Development, Research and Development Society Center (LPPM) building 4th and 5th floors, University of Hasanuddin, Makassar, runs from January to March 2013. This research was aimed to select the best sources of hormones from various organic materials to optimize growth and production of green mustard plant Brassica juncea L. with hydroponic system. This research was based on a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments, by giving organic materials of coconut water (P4), maize (P3), banana peels (P2), bean sprouts (P1) and without the provision of organic materials (P0) with 5 replicates, each contained 5 replicates of each treatment sample so that the sample was 125 plants observed. Application of organic materials treatment by spraying. The parameters measured were plant height, number of leaves, leaf length, leaf width, petiole length and wet weight of green mustard plant Brassica juncea L. Data were analyzed using the F test followed by Least Significant Difference (LSD) test. The results showed that the organic material of coconut water (P4) was a source of plant hormones that were best in optimizing growth and production of green mustard plant Brassica juncea L
