ANALISIS KESENJANGAN EKONOMI ANTAR KABUPATEN/KOTA DI PROVINSI GORONTALO PERIODE 2006-2010

2013This study aims to analyze the extent of income disparities among regency / cities in Gorontalo Province as study materials and advice in the planning of economic growth. This study uses secondary data in the period of the GDP per capita regencies / cities in Gorontalo province and population by district / city in the province of Gorontalo Year 2006-2010. The analytical tool used in this research is the analysis of Williamson Index.\ud From the Williamson index analysis shows that economic disparities between regencies / cities in Gorontalo province developed relatively uneven both in income and population. cause of inequality is related potentials and capabilities of each region in promoting regional economic growth.\ud Keywords: economic growth, economic inequality, the index Williamson
