Paembonan, Djamal Sanusi, dan Anwar Umar\ud Program Pascasarjana Universitas Hasanuddin Makassar\ud Email: eli.tambaru@gmail.com\ud \ud ABSTRACT\ud A reseach a bout Biodiversity Trees Species in Urban Forest of Makassar City, was done from February to July 2011. The aim of the study was to know inventory and identification trees species biodiversity in urban forest growth and air warming mitigation in Makassar city, The experiments were carried out using study sampling Cruise Method and Quantitative Data of trees species growth from three locations: A.P. Pettarani Street (Panakkukang Subdistricts), Hasanuddin University (Tamalanrea Subdistricts) and PT. KIMA, Makassar Industrial Estate (Biringkanaya Subdistricts). The result showed that all locations 35 families and 109 species. The highest trees species growth to Hasanuddin University 35 families and 102 species; KIMA 30 families and 72 species; and A.P.Pettarani has only 23 families and 41 species.\ud Key words: Biodiversity, trees, inventory, identification, Urban Forest, and Makassar City
