Rotib as a Supervisor Member.\ud ABSTRACT\ud This study aims to examined the provision of turmeric and garlic mixture into the feed as an anti-fungal and determined the effect of turmeric and garlic on free fatty acids and the number of fungal colonies with different storage time. The research was conducted in January until March 2012, at the Laboratory of Food Industry, Faculty of Animal Science Hasanuddin University in the manufacture of powdered turmeric, garlic and feed storage. While the chemical analysis of free fatty acid content in the laboratory of Animal Food Chemistry, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Hasanuddin University and counting of fungal colonies in the Laboratory of Marine Microbiology Faculty of Marine Sciences and Fisheries, Hasanuddin University, Makassar. The materials used are calcium propionate, turmeric, garlic, and for the basal ration consisting of corn, bran, palm oil, fish meal, soybean meal, CaCO3, and premix. The data obtained were processed using CRD factorial pattern with 5 treatments, 4 replications of storage time and 2 repetition. Parameters observed fungal colonies and free fatty acid content.
