Effectivity of Insect Pathogen, Fusarium sp. in Controlling Diamondback moth, Plutella xylostella L.

The research was conducted in Laboratory of Plant Pest and Disease Department, Faculty of Agriculture, UNHAS Makassar. The purposes of the research is to analyze the effect of application of insect pathogen, Fusarium sp. in five concentrations were 105, 106, 107, 108, and 109 on larvae of Diamondback moth, Plutella xylostella. The results indicated that concentration of 109 caused 100% mortality of P. xylostella larvae in 4 days, while concentrations of 105,106,107,and 108 caused mortality 57.5%, 80.0%, 92.5%, 97.5% respectively, and control (no application) was only 5.0%. No larvae of P. xylostella emerge as adult (moth) at concentrations 109, 108 and 107, while concentration of 106, 105 and control were 2.5%, 2.5%, and 92.5%, respectively
