Eggs distribution on different parts of branch coral Acropora nobilis

The resources allocation on certain biology function will sacrifice of other biological functions. Growth localization on certain part of coral colony was correlated to lower of reproduction activities. The research aims were to find out eggs distribution in each development stage, the mean of eggs number per polyp and reproductive polyp proportion on different parts of branching coral A. nobilis.\ud Ten colonies A. nobilis with >15 cm diameter sample were taken randomly in NW of coral reef waters, Barrang Lompo Island, Spermonde Islands, Makassar on 27 January 2002 (one day before the full moon).
