During 2005 detectors based on pCVD material have been produced which are candidates for use in LHC experiments. The first full size diamond pixel module with full Atlas specifications was built using a $2 \times 6$ cm$^2$ pCVD sample and tests were carried out during 2005 in a DESY test beam. Both ATLAS and CMS have tested and are planning to use diamond for their beam conditions monitoring systems. Construction of the BCM system for ATLAS began at the end of 2005. A similar device is under study for the CMS experiment. Single crystal CVD samples were produced and made available to RD42 institutes.
