Resonances between the bar pattern and the disk have an important role in the redistribution of material in the inner disk of barred galaxies. We detect the main resonances in a live disk in N-body models. In our simulations, disks are immersed in live halos of dark matter. A bar forms spontaneously and interacts with the surrounding medium through resonant mechanisms. We study the role of the main resonances in the disk and show that orbits are trapped around them. We are particularly focused on the inner Lindblad resonance and corotation. Resonances between the bar and the halo are also discussed
