Breaking of conformal supersymmetry by quantum p-branes with exotic supersymmetry

Quantum dynamics and symmetries of super $p$-branes preserving exotic fractions of supersymmetry are considered by studying branes which preserve 3/4 fraction of N=1 D=4 global supersymmetry. Established is the presence of anomaly in the commutator of the conformal boost generators with generators of world-volume gauge symmetry. It indicates that the classical global symmetry OSp(1|8) of the exotic superstring and superbranes is explicitly broken in quantum theory
