The CLIC study has focused on investigating the possibility to construct a linear electron-positron collider with a centre-of-mass energy of 3 TeV. Recently, an evaluation of different linear collider proposals has been carried out by the International Linear Collider Technical Review Committee, chaired by Greg Loew. Since this evaluation focused on a centre-of-mass energy of 500 GeV, it was necessary to design an appropriate main lincac lattice and to evaluate its performance. This paper reports the results
