We clarify the issue of entanglement between identical particles. It needs to be defined for a given single particle basis, in terms of the (anti)symmetrized bases states in the configuration space, as equivalent to the product basis in the particle number representation. The (anti)symmetrized Schmidt basis, or Yang basis, is shown to be the single particle basis in which one-particle reduced density matrix is diagonal.
