In this summary paper I will focus on the four main topics discussed at this Conference: (i) First luminous sources in the universe, (ii) Reionization, (iii) Intergalactic medium and (iv) Galaxy formation. In addition to provide a necessarily sketchy summary of the various talks on these subjects, I will also outline some of potentially important issues that still need to be fully addressed
