A new model has been developed which describe successfully the parity violating and the parity conserving amplitude of the weak nonleptonic decay of the octet hyperons using weak SU(3) symmetry for the contact terms. It is used to describe the weak nonmesonic and mesonic decay of various dibaryons with strangeness. Production estimates for BNL's Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collider are presented employing wave function coalescence. The best signals for detecting strange dibaryon states in heavy-ion collisions are outlined. It is noted that the Lambda-Lambda dibaryon may mimic H dibaryon formation, because the dominant decay mode is the same
