A Postponed Wall

The project is a single family house in the North of Antwerp. Working towards a territory. Aiming for a porous and embedded project. By creating an number of different perspectives that pass through indoor space and intertwining outdoor and indoor in a mutually reinforcing relation. The different perspectives aim at maximizing the spacious feeling and enables the inhabitant to overview the different spaces, both indoor and outdoor and at the same creating a feeling of ‘Yard’. The relation between the house and the exterior space is articulated on the basis of the courtyard with water surface.The design tries to maximize the interface between the interior and exterior without compromising the privacy.
