Some features of cultural policies in four Western European Countries

Two objectives are aimed at in this article: 1) to give an outline of the most notable features of the cultural policies of France, Great Britain, the Netherlands, and West Germany, 2) to formulate some general features of the cultural policy in these four countries. The consequence of such a large aim is that the argumentation cannot always strengthened by facts.
