Transfer: onderzoek en onderwijs

In the present article the literature on one crucial issue of the research on learning and instruction is reviewed, namely to what extent knowledge and skills acquired in one situation can be transferred to a new context successfully. The central part of the article consists of a discussion of the conditions for transfer.
