Introduction The physical and psychological benefits of regular physical activity are well established in different population groups. Moreover, the positive effects of lifestyle programs compared with traditional exercise programs have been shown. Nevertheless there is no consensus concerning how to optimally assist people in pursuing and maintaining a physically active lifestyle.
