Does one school have a more positive impact on its pupils than the other? Are some teachers more effective than others? Does it matter to which class a pupil belongs? The present booklet offers an introduction to the international work in this domain. Furthermore, it provides a summary of some of the research into educational effectiveness which has been carried out at the K.U.Leuven (Flanders, Belgium).nrpages: V, 87status: publishe
