The flavonol rutin is potentially clinical relevant for its antioxidant activity, antiinflamation, and others. However, its benefits substance for therapeutic applications have been impended by the fact that rutin has poor aqueous solubility and low bioavailability. Solid dispersion of rutin-saccharides (maltodextrin, lactose, and sucrose) is wanted to increase rutin solubility and bioavailability.
