Add to ORKGINTRODUCTION: the patient safety issue and its relationship to medication errors with the nursing staff is notorious. OBJECTIVE: analyze the scientific literature about the factors that influence medication errors by nursing staff and what strategies have been made in the prevention of errors for Patient Safety. METHODOLOGY: integrative review, we used the bases CINAHL, LILACS, Web of Science, Scopus, PubMed and Medline for synthesis of scientific knowledge. RESULTS: the sample consisted of 19 trials.
