Management of intellectual capital of a bank branch in the municipality of Ituiutaba-MG

With the decree of Law No. 11,638 / 07, a group of intangible assets was implemented in the balance sheet, and among them is Intellectual Capital, which is the focus of this article. Opinions on the subject are diverse and it is still remote from a concrete conclusion, because it refers to a considerably recent subject, with values ​​pointed as subjective so far. There are several approaches assigned to Intellectual Capital, with information, technology and knowledge as its primary components, thus becoming the subject of many researches. Thus, in order to collaborate with these approaches, a case study was performed in a financial organization located in the municipality of Ituiutaba, Minas Gerais State, in order to understand the formation of Intellectual Capital in a Banking Agency that, to preserve In his image, a fictitious name was adopted, which was Agência Bolso Feliz. The study was conducted through the application of questionnaires and a semi-structured interview, where a total of 14 (fourteen) employees of the organization were interviewed, involving the managerial and operational levels. The results showed that the Bolso Feliz Agency employees are progressively seeking to broaden their knowledge, as the market becomes gradually competitive, demanding more and more qualified people.Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação)Com o decreto da Lei n° 11.638/07, foi implantado um grupo de ativos intangíveis no balanço patrimonial, e dentre eles está o Capital Intelectual, que é foco do presente artigo. As opiniões acerca do tema são diversas e ainda se está remota de uma conclusão concreta, pelo fato de se referir à um assunto consideravelmente recente, com valores apontados como subjetivos até o momento. São diversas as abordagens designadas ao Capital Intelectual, sendo a informação, a tecnologia e o conhecimento seus componentes primordiais, se tornando assim, tema de várias pesquisas. Sendo assim, de maneira a colaborar com essas abordagens, foi desempenhado um estudo de caso em uma organização financeira situada no município de Ituiutaba, do Estado de Minas Gerais, com finalidade de compreender a formação do Capital Intelectual em uma Agência Bancária que, para preservar sua imagem, foi adotado um nome fictício, o qual foi Agência Bolso Feliz. O estudo foi feito através da aplicação de questionários e uma entrevista semiestruturada, onde foram entrevistados, no total, 14 (quatorze) funcionários da organização, envolvendo os níveis gerencial e operacional. Os resultados apontaram que os funcionários da Agência Bolso Feliz buscam progressivamente ampliar seus conhecimentos, dado que o mercado se torna gradualmente competitivo, demandando pessoas cada vez mais qualificadas
