Solidarism is an alternative mode of articulation between religion and economics. Far from the classic Weberian thesis, it suggests a third way between capitalism and collectivism. This study evaluates the specifically Protestant quality of this movement, by the choice of eight topoi : the notion of solidarity, the concept of the individual, the concept of work, the relations towards money and profit, the project of a «Cooperative State » , an analysis of charity, perceptions of faith, and, finally, ethics.
