Konrad Raiser : Wich future for the World Council of Churches ? Recent changes in the social, political and ecclesiastical domains require to redefine the priorities of the oecumenical movement. The search for unity should transcend any particular questions, and should be centered around a new ecclesiological vision. The testimony and the mission of the one Church in this world necessitate inter-religious dialogue and a stronger effort of inculturation. We should finally be able to reach a common definition of an oecumenical social thinking capable of proposing a social structure to the community of humans.
