The Christology of Caspar von Schwenckfeld, 1488-1561 (non aliud sed aliter). Caspar von Schwenckfeld, the Silesian spiritualist, had the opportunity to state precisely his christological doctrine during a discussion with the Swiss reformers during the fourth decade of the fifteenth century. Remaining faithful to the principles of his spiritual vision, of which one of the objectives was to abolish the dichotomy between earthly, carnal nature and spiritual nature, he wished to prove that the human nature of Christ on earth remained the same even after his ressurection. Thus Schwenckfeld formulated his very distinctive christological ontology according to which the human body can truly exist as such, without being subject to the physical elements of matter. Such was the case with the body of Christ, by means of which any man may change his body into a spiritual body. This process of spiritualization, whose decisive moment is the experience of the Cross, permits man to leave the creature state and be reborn as a true and adequate image of God.Caspar Schwenckfeld, spintualiste silésien, a pu préciser sa doctrine christologique au cours d'une discussion avec les réformateurs suisses dans les années quarante du XVIe siècle. Fidèle aux principes de sa vision spirituelle, dont l'un des objectifs fut d'abolir la dichotomie entre la nature terrestre et charnelle et la nature spirituelle, il voulait prouver que la nature humaine du Christ sur terre reste la même après sa résurrection. Ainsi Schwenckfeld formula sa très originale ontologie christologique selon laquelle le corps humain peut exister réellement en tant que tel sans être assujetti aux éléments physiques de la matière. Tel fut le cas du corps du Christ grâce auquel tout homme peut changer son corps en corps spirituel. Ce processus de spiritualisation, dont le moment décisif est l'expérience de la Croix, permet à l'homme de sortir de l'état de créature et de renaître comme une véritable et adéquate image de Dieu.Séguenny André.
