Zoomorphic patterns in the Latenian art of Bohemia in the 3rd century B.C. Zoomorphic patterns are numerous in the Latenian art of the 5th century B.C. in Bohemia. On the contrary, they are very unusual in this country in the next century and their number increases only in the 3rd century B.C., especially because they are often used on metallic belt-books. A new study of the material led to distinguish, in the 3rd century B.C., a certain number of zoomorphic patterns associated with the use of techniques which were unknown until this time : namely imitation filigree and pastillage and to the araising of new types of ornament.
