Dissidence et droits de l'Homme

The distinction between the sacred and the profane is for Durckheim a characteristic of any religion. Can this statement be wholly applied to Christianity whose faith is based on the coming of the holy God into the profanity of human history, with its implied denial of the boundary between sacred and profane ? A number of signs stress the attempt of Christianity to overcome this duality. But the latter is never completely blurred even if it loses its absolute value. Christianity pro¬ claims the end of this duality, but does not carry it out completely. For it cannot disappear totally until, in the words of St-Paul, «God is all in all ».D'une façon générale, la dissidence, en tant que revendication du droit à la différence au sein d'un groupe social, est la matrice des libertés. Toutefois l'existence de la dissidence pose un problème aux nations et aux Etats qui ont besoin de s'appuyer sur un consensus minimum, d'où résulte pour eux la tentation de résoudre la question de la dissidence par la répression et la marginalisation.
