The Red Gum Lerp Psyllid (Glycaspis brimblecombei Moore) introduced on French eucalyptus trees (Hemiptera, Psyllidae). Five species of psyllids have invaded european eucalyptus plantations : Ctenarytaina eucalypti, C. spatulata, C. peregrina, Blastopsylla occidentalis and Glycaspis brimblecombei. C. eucalypti, C. spatulata and C. peregrina were the only ones known from France until today. The discovery of G. brimblecombei in continental France and Corsica is the logical continuation of its mediterranean basin invasion. G. brimblecombei was found initially in Var and Alpes-Maritimes departments, then in Corse-du-Sud.
