The aluminous metasediments of Dogger of Briançonnais zone occur in Vanoise and in Liguria. Two new types of magnesiocarpholite are described, with a Mg-content about 66 % for the first one, and about 80 % for the second one. The cell parameters of these different magnesiocarpholites are given and they are compared to their respective compositions. The increase of Mg-content corresponds to a decrease of the cell volume. The first occurrence of an alumino-silicate of beryllium, « euclase », in the Western Alps and in metamorphism of sedimentary aluminous rocks is described.
