Nowadays, organofluorine compounds are widely used, with applications in all fields of life sciences (pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals) as well as materials. This growing interest is due to the unique properties induced by fluorinated motifs. In this context, the association of fluorine with heteroatoms such as chalcogens allows its properties of interest (lipophilicity, conformation, metabolic stability) to be modulated.
