Integration of nanoobjects into functional systems at the nanometer scale is a serious challenge especially for applications that take advantage of the unique properties of these objects. There are a wide variety of objects with diverse nature from nanoparticles to proteins and molecules. Many problems aim at assembling on a solid surface in 2D or 3D these nanobojects from a liquid phase. However their integration on solid surfaces remains a sensitive operation. Particular attention must therefore be taken for the assembling of biomolecules or nanoparticles when considering applications to biological analysis and medical diagnosis, but also for the fabrication of specialised electro-mechanical micro/nano systems.
