Kinetic monitoring of protein-protein interactions offers fundamental insights of their cellular functions and is a vital key for the improvement of diagnostic tests as well as the discovery of novel therapeutic drugs. Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) is an established biosensor technology routinely used for kinetic studies of biomolecular interactions.
